British Airways pays £54m to settle air cargo lawsuit

 

BA, now part of International Airlines Group with Iberia, said it is "pleased" with the agreement.

The deal follows an investigation by the US Department of Justice (DoJ) into a violation of anti-trust rules within the air transport industry between 2000 and 2006. BA pleaded guilty to being involved in a cartel in 2006 and has already paid out almost £300m to the DoJ and the European Commission...
